Recently Purchased Dolls - Poor Quality?

Well, after reading the thread about the problem Josefinas it took me back from ordering another doll tonight like I planned. I'm most interested in Addy, Kaya, and Josefina, but I would also like to hear from people who got AGT25 and AGT15 too. Or any other of the AGs.

Are the majority of people who got Christmas/December/January dolls getting good quality, poor quality or in the middle quality dolls? Please let me know...I have five AGs I want to buy with my MLP collection money, and then I have all the AGs I currently want...that I can afford, at least, lol. So this is super important! Besides, I bet everyone else would like to hear this, since we've had to go on the quality inspection as of late. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I got AGT4 this month and she is gorgeous with thick, silky hair. I also got Samantha for Christmas and she is also gorgeous with great hair.

All my dolls have been GREAT quality! I got my first two dolls {Samantha, & Felicity} for Christmas {Samantha in '98 & lissie in '04} & I got Marisol in July! All three are WONDERFUL!

Well I got Josefina for christmas this year and she is GREAT! Her coloring and wig are awesome. I can find nothing wrong with her. She is perfect! [img]rolleyes.gif[/img] [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

I had to send one Jess back, for a lumpy wig. I am realllllly picky, though.

I just got 21, also, and she's gorgeous!

I've purchased three dolls since October of 2005 and only had problems with one, AGT 21. I sent her back, and her replacement was wonderful! [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img] My Marisol and Felicity are good quality too...tight limbs, good wigs and coloring. I really can't complain!

We had to send Kaya back 3 times and finally settled to keep the last one and send her to the doll hospital becuase we loved her face but her legs were really as loose as my older white body Sam. The first one also had loose legs and the second one had TERRIBLE wig problems with it being on crooked and lumpy and the third one had really horrible crooked eyes. We have decided to wait to get Jess until we go to Chicago in the summer because I don't want to go through the repacking and taking to UPS. I hope this is just an isolated incident. I got AGT #25 and she is very beautiful. Her wig is nice and smooth, her hair is perfect, and she has a cubby face. Check my albums if you'd like some pictures.

I wonder if there was a rush to make sure that there were enough Dolls to Cover Christmas. I saw that they didn't have the run outs this year that they had last year. This can and does affect quality control. - I think I am going to try to stick to ordering Dolls over the summer and or going direct to the store

We got AGT4 back in October and I found nothing wrong with her at all. Thick wig, shiny hair, and good coloring.

Jess came last week and I couldn't find anything wrong with her either.

Cadence came last week and the only thing I don't understand is why they gave her a thinner wig compared to say AGT4. Her hair is shiny, silky and her other features are fine- it's just her lack of hair that bugs me. But I won't be sending her back.

AGT 26 should be coming soon. We returned some duplicate gifts in order to get her. I'm looking forward to seeing her in person.

I originally had a problem with my first Marisol, whose wig seems to be thinning at an alarming rate. While they sent me a replacement who seems to be fine, I decided to keep the original Marisol as well, and payed for the extra one. Though I'm sure that eventually my original will eventually need a new wig. [img]frown.gif[/img]

My Jess seems to be perfect, though pver all, i've noticed that their wigs in general are not as thick, though maybe this is a result of the original hair style being pig tails.

Unfortunately, I only have a PM Felicity, Lindsey (who has thick gorgeous curls), Marisol, and Jess to compare.
